Roman Rittweger, M.D., Ph.D.
CEO
Roman Rittweger, MD, PhD is an experienced founder with extensive experience in the healthcare sector and the health insurance industry. As a serial entrepreneur, he has been responsible for the growth of several enterprises. In his previous position, he has served as the CEO for ottonova, a digital health insurance provider in Germany. Roman is driven by his passion for creating and growing enterprises and his enthusiasm for medical innovation.
After getting his medical degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich and an MBA from INSEAD, Roman stared his career at McKinsey, before founding his first enterprise ArztPartner almeda, an innovative telemedicine provider. He then joined BBDO Consulting as a Managing Partner before he founded the Advisors in Healthcare consulting group. With ottonova, he developed and successfully scaled the first digital health insurance provider in Germany.
Philipp Meyer
Managing Director
Philipp is a seasoned private equity professional with a track record across both the mid and large cap PE segments. He has deep experience in business services and healthcare.
Philipp started his 20+ year professional career with Bain & Co in Zurich, before he moved to New York-based Stone Tower Capital and later AEA Investors. For the last 7+ years, Philipp was a senior team member of PAI in Germany and most recently headed PAI's mid market investments in the DACH region.
Philipp has a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York City.
